Labor Party National Chairman, Julius Abure, narrowly escaped assassination attempt and house fire in Abuja.

Labour Party National Chairman, Julius Abure, narrowly escaped an assassination attempt and a subsequent fire at his Abuja residence at around 1:00 am. While Abure and his family were asleep, the fire started and spread, trapping the household. However, neighbours and security personnel managed to rescue them by breaking a window and evacuating them. The family was then taken to a private hospital for treatment, and their condition has been reported as stable. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
