Jersey-registered boat Maria Del Mar was seized by French authorities in the Caribbean, containing around 1,100 kg of cocaine worth £77m. The vessel was 200 miles south of Barbados when stopped. Four individuals - three Spaniards and one Colombian - were arrested. Jersey's Attorney General, Mark Temple, praised French authorities and reaffirmed the jurisdiction's commitment to combat drug trafficking.
