Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto held talks with Malaysia's leader, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, on bolstering bilateral ties during a regional visit that included China and Japan. Both leaders discussed the next steps to strengthen their relationship and exchanged views on their respective political journeys. Subianto, who is also the country's Defense Minister, will succeed Joko Widodo in October.
