India's Haryana State Women's Commission has summoned Congress MP Randeep Surjewala to appear before it on April 9 over his alleged "indecent" remarks against BJP MP Hema Malini. The commission took suo motu cognizance of media reports and issued the notice. The BJP accused Surjewala of making "vile, sexist" remarks against Malini, which it said showed the main opposition party is misogynistic and abhors women.
