Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill that ties $750 million per year from the state's gaming revenue to environmental projects. The funds will be allocated to initiatives such as invasive species removal, restoration of old water infrastructure, research funding, and improvements to wetlands and water quality. The signing ceremony took place at the South Florida Water Management District in Davie.
