Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill giving the state regulatory control over food delivery platforms, requiring consent from restaurants before taking orders or arranging deliveries. The legislation, known as CS/SB 676, also prohibits platforms from offering different prices than those listed on restaurant menus and preempts local regulations. The law does not affect businesses providing their own delivery services.
