100,000 euro worth of illicit beer seized at Rosslare Europort, Co. Wexford; truck driver questioned.

A truck driver was questioned by Revenue officers after they seized nearly €100,000 worth of illicit beer at Rosslare Europort in Co. Wexford. Risk profiling led to the discovery of 24,875 liters of beer with an estimated value of over €99,000 during a search of a truck and trailer. Both the trailer and alcohol seized, and the driver of the load was subsequently questioned.
