66-year-old woman found dead in Brisbane unit; man charged with murder. Police discovered the woman's body during a welfare check at a Fortitude Valley apartment on Tuesday afternoon. The 42-year-old son of the deceased woman was arrested at the scene and later charged with one count of murder (DV offence). He is scheduled to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
