22-year-old man banned for life by AFL for running onto Adelaide Oval during game, tackled by player and security.

The AFL has imposed a lifetime ban on a 22-year-old man who disrupted a game by running onto Adelaide Oval during a match between Adelaide and Geelong. The non-member invader, who was recording the incident on his mobile phone, was tackled by Adelaide player Ben Keays and security personnel. The AFL's general counsel, Stephen Meade, stated that running onto the ground during a match is "unsafe and unlawful," and the man will face Adelaide Magistrates Court on June 19.
