15-year-old kidnapping victim, Savannah Graziano, was shot to death in 2022 by police near Hesperia, California. She was fleeing her abductor father, Anthony John Graziano, and sought help from law enforcement when officers fired on the truck she was trying to escape from. Despite Savannah's compliance with police orders and her apparent lack of tactical equipment, the officers continued to shoot, ultimately killing her. The California Department of Justice is currently investigating the incident.
