38-year-old Immanuel Jordan Taylor was shot by Hopewell police during a narcotics search warrant execution. Virginia State Police identified Taylor, who displayed a weapon and was injured, and taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Hopewell police officer involved is on administrative leave pending investigation led by Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
