Wilmington couple, Detro Simpson (52) and Terry Simpson (54), were arrested on April 2 after allegedly assaulting and robbing a man with a disability. The incident occurred near Market Street, downtown Wilmington. Both suspects have been charged with common law robbery, assault on an individual with a disability, and felony conspiracy. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
