59-year-old Derrick Collins, reported missing from Leavenworth, Kansas in June 2022, has been identified as the skeletal remains found in a wooded area near Lansing in February. The remains were found by community members near a creek bed. No trauma was noted during the autopsy, and at this time, there is no evidence of foul play in Collins' death. Final autopsy results are pending.
