A woman in Nanaimo died after being struck by a pickup truck, and Nanaimo RCMP are investigating potential impaired driving.

A woman in Nanaimo has died after being struck by a pickup truck on Boundary Avenue near Meredith Road on April 2. The incident occurred around 12:30 pm and the woman was in serious condition when transported to the hospital. Nanaimo RCMP are currently investigating the driver for potential impaired driving and have closed Boundary Avenue between Meredith Road and Nelson Street for further investigation.
