Virgin Atlantic expects to return to profitability in 2024, after recording record revenues of £3.1bn in 2023. The airline, co-owned by Sir Richard Branson and Delta Air Lines, reported a £139m loss before tax and exceptional items, down from £206m in 2022. Strong demand for premium leisure travel and holidays has driven the airline's revenue increase, with 5.3 million passengers carried in 2023.
