New research from the University of Birmingham reveals that doctors feel under-equipped to tackle childhood obesity due to a lack of training and capacity. In-depth interviews with healthcare professionals found that they struggle with limited time and training to support families, and lack of access to data on children's weight. The researchers published their findings in the British Journal of General Practice.
