President Asif Ali Zardari stated that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's court murder was a conspiracy against Pakistan's independence on the 45th anniversary of the PPP founder's death. The Supreme Court of Pakistan recently declared that the trial of Bhutto's case lacked transparency. Zardari claimed that Bhutto's mission was the mission of martyred Benazir Bhutto, now overseen by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
