Singapore's HTX, NTU, and Klass Engineering have developed "cyborg cockroaches" with infrared cameras and sensors for search and rescue missions. These insect-hybrid robots, showcased at the Milipol Asia-Pacific and TechX Summit, navigate tight spaces and detect life during emergencies such as earthquakes. They were displayed alongside other homeland security innovations.
