Sam Raimi, director of the Spider-Man trilogy and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has expressed interest in directing Marvel's upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars. Raimi's previous multiverse experience in Doctor Strange 2 makes him a suitable choice for the movie that is set to close the Multiverse Saga. Raimi has not been officially approached by Marvel for the project, but he hopes they will ask him.
