Romania drafts bill to protect nationals abroad, extends defense law scope.

Romania is drafting a bill to extend protection of its nationals abroad for the first time. The national defense law, under public debate by the Ministry of National Defense, introduces Romania's intervention to protect Romanian citizens in danger outside national territory. The law also establishes the competences and means to employ military and non-military capabilities in the situation of hybrid threats.
