Omaha agreed to pay nearly $300,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former city employee, Shakilah Grixby, who claimed she suffered physical and emotional harm due to harassment by the then-City Human Rights and Relations Department director, Gerald Kuhn. The settlement includes $275,000 to Grixby and $10,000 for attorney fees. Kuhn resigned in April 2023 after being placed on leave during the investigation.
