North Carolina's first Black-owned children's bookstore, Liberation Station, is relocating due to threats against the store owner and her family since September. The bookstore, which opened in June 2021, will leave its downtown Raleigh location on April 30th. Owner Victoria Scott-Miller had to create strategies to avoid being targeted, including frequently changing operating hours and generating content after hours.
