Nigeria's Dangote mega-refinery begins domestic gasoline deliveries in May, weaning Africa's most populous country off costly petroleum imports. The $20bn worth refinery has started pumping out diesel and aviation fuel, with sales of diesel at N1,225/litre dropping the price in some locations across the country. The refinery is expected to commence the release of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to the domestic market in May this year.
