Nigeria Police explains it cannot arrest crossdressers such as Bobrisky due to lack of law prohibiting crossdressing. Police spokesperson, Prince Muyiwa Adejobi, said that crossdressing is not yet a punishable offence in Nigeria and there is no specific evidence to back up allegations that crossdressers are also part of the LGBTQ community. As a result, they cannot take them to court.
