New Zealand's government has opened applications for projects to be included in its Fast Track Approvals Bill, aiming to expedite approvals for significant projects and support economic growth. Projects can be submitted to the Ministry of Environment until 3 May, with the independent Fast Track Advisory Group providing recommendations to Ministers of Infrastructure, Regional Development, and Transport for inclusion in the bill. Once passed, projects in Schedule 2A will be automatically referred to an Expert Panel for consent and permit conditions.
