Maruti Suzuki India Limited reaches 3 crore cumulative vehicle production in 40 years and 4 months.
India's leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, has achieved a cumulative production milestone of 3 crore vehicles since its inception in December 1983, becoming the fastest among all Suzuki production bases to reach this feat in just 40 years and four months. The production milestone includes vehicles manufactured at Maruti Suzuki's facilities in Gurugram, Manesar (Haryana), and Hansalpur (Gujarat), with over 2.68 crore vehicles produced in Haryana and over 32 lakh vehicles in Gujarat. This makes India the second market for Suzuki Motor Corporation to cross cumulative production of 3 crore units, following Japan.
