Kansas City Chiefs re-sign RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire to a one-year deal as a backup to Isiah Pacheco.

The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire to a one-year deal, bringing the former first-round pick back for another season after his production dipped last year. Edwards-Helaire, 24, has been with the Chiefs since being drafted in 2020 and has won two Super Bowls with the team. His role on the team is expected to be as a backup to starting running back Isiah Pacheco.
