iOS 17.5 beta allows users in the European Union to download apps directly from external websites, a major change in Apple's sideloading policy. This new feature, following the Digital Markets Act, supports website distribution of apps in Europe and allows app installs directly from a website for developers that agree to Apple's terms and fees. Users in the EU can currently take advantage of this through the first developer beta of iOS 17.5.
