Governor AbdulRazaq of Kwara state mourns Owode market fire, praises fire service, urges modern fire prevention measures.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has expressed his condolences to the people of Offa, particularly the business community, after a fire incident destroyed the popular Owode market in Offa local government area of Kwara state. The Governor commended the fire service for their prompt response and directed them to work more closely with market traders on modern fire prevention mechanisms and preparedness. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
