63% of Gen Z have already tried running a small business or side hustle, with 22% planning to become their own boss within the next year and 13% considering it in one or two years. Food and drink, entertainment, and fashion are the most appealing job sectors for Gen Z adults. The research was conducted to mark the launch of AXA's Startup Angel competition, which offers top prizes of £25,000 for two aspiring entrepreneurs, business insurance for a year, and dedicated mentoring.
