Former Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena informed Maligakanda Magistrate's Court that he won't provide a confidential statement regarding his claims about the Easter Sunday attacks, as he has already given a detailed statement to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID). The court had previously ordered Sirisena to appear based on his recent comments about the 2019 attacks. Sirisena had publicly stated on March 22 that he possesses information about the perpetrators.
