Former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar has returned to Nigeria ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on April 18. Atiku, who had been out of the country for weeks, was pressured by the party's National Working Committee to fix the meeting after it was postponed for over a year. The NEC meeting, the second most influential decision-making organ of the party, is expected to meet every quarter as stated in the party's constitution.
