3D seismic project initiated in Penyu Basin, offshore Malaysia, by TGS, PGS, SLB, MPM, and PETRONAS for exploration and carbon storage assessment.

TGS, PGS, and SLB have initiated a multi-client 3D seismic project in Penyu Basin, offshore Peninsular Malaysia, in partnership with Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) and PETRONAS. The project aims to provide insights on exploration opportunities and assess carbon storage potential. The acquired seismic data will enable clients to evaluate exploration and carbon storage prospects for the upcoming Malaysia Bid Round.
