50,000+ Australian Honda vehicles recalled due to fuel pump defect causing engine failure risk.
Honda has recalled over 50,000 vehicles in Australia due to a fuel pump defect that could lead to engine failure. Affected Honda models include Odyssey, Accord, City, Civic, CR-V, HR-V, Jazz, Civic Type R, and NSX, manufactured between 2017 and 2020. The improper manufacturing process may cause a component within the fuel pump to swell, leading to an inoperative fuel pump, which could result in engine failure and cause accidents resulting in serious injury or death.
