Norway's parliament, the Storting, faced a brief lockdown on 3 April due to two bomb threats received on the same day. Lawmakers continued their debates inside the building while heavily armed police were posted outside. The surrounding streets were cordoned off and bomb-sniffing dogs were in action. The 169-member Storting was reopened after around two and a half hours, with a senior police officer confirming that the situation was now considered safe.
