Amazon expands its free credits program for startups to cover the costs of using popular AI models. The company aims to boost the market share of its AI platform Bedrock by offering free credits that now cover the use of models from other providers such as Anthropic, Meta, Mistral AI, and Cohere. The move follows Amazon's $4bn investment in AI startup Anthropic, which will use AWS as its primary cloud provider.
