104-year-old WWII veteran and last surviving 320 Dutch Squadron pilot, André Hissink, dies.

Perth's André Hissink, a 104-year-old WWII veteran and last surviving pilot of the 320 Dutch Squadron, has died. Hissink was a third-year law student when he was mobilized in 1939 and went on to fly over 60 bombing missions across France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Awarded the Dutch Airman's Cross for his valour, the Dutch Ministry of Defence has characterized him as a "true hero of the Second World War."
