28-year-old Wichita man, Devonte Smith, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for trafficking 100,000 fentanyl-laced pills with intent to sell. He and two others flew to Arizona to buy the pills and were stopped by police in Kansas. Criminal charges against the other two, Jomarion Nelson and Dornayjah Acon, are pending. The case was investigated by the FBI, Wichita Police Department, Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, and others.
