A Tucson police officer, Adam Buckner (31), died after a driver crashed into his patrol car while responding to a call with sirens on, authorities said on Monday. The crash occurred near the University of Arizona campus. Buckner had the right of way before the collision at an intersection, and died from his injuries after being rushed to a hospital. The other driver involved in the incident sustained minor injuries.
