30-year-old man dies in industrial accident at vehicle recovery garage in Ripon, North Yorkshire; HSE investigation ongoing.
A man in his 30s from Darlington died in a fatal industrial accident at a vehicle recovery garage on Boroughbridge Road in Ripon on Good Friday. The incident occurred around 8am, and despite the attendance of ambulance, air ambulance, fire, and police teams, the man's life could not be saved. North Yorkshire Police are assisting an investigation led by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
