45-year-old Heather Corey was killed after being hit by a minivan in Palmyra, Somerset County, while crossing Route 2 near Walmart. Corey was crossing from the Walmart parking lot towards Dollar General when she was struck by the vehicle operated by an 80-year-old local man. The crash is under investigation, with speed and alcohol not being considered factors.
