31-year-old Easton man, Earl Kautz, was found guilty of child abuse and related charges after a three-day trial in Talbot County. Kautz was convicted of two counts of first-degree child abuse, one count of second-degree child abuse, two counts of second-degree assault, and one count of reckless endangerment. The abuse involved a one-year-old boy and assault of a 13-year-old girl. Kautz is scheduled for sentencing on June 10th.
