The 6-year, $1.2 billion I-41 highway expansion project has begun in northeast Wisconsin, aiming to increase the roadway from four lanes to six between Green Bay and the Fox Cities. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to complete the project by 2030, with over 75,000 vehicles traveling the route daily.
