6 US universities receive $15m from DoE to establish electric power cybersecurity centers.
The University of Pittsburgh, Texas Tech University, and four other US universities receive a combined $15 million from the Department of Energy to establish six university-based electric power cybersecurity centers across the country. The investment aims to strengthen energy sector cybersecurity, fostering research and workforce development for grid resiliency and addressing evolving cyber threats to US energy systems.
