Toyota is set to launch a new vehicle, the Toyota Taisor, on April 3, which is expected to be based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. This will be the fourth Maruti-rebadged model to go on sale from Toyota after Glanza (Baleno), the now-discontinued Urban Cruiser (Vitara Brezza), and Rumion (Ertiga). The teaser reveals several visual details about the Taisor, such as the front grille with honeycomb mesh and sleek LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The Taisor will compete with other subcompact SUV/crossovers like Hyundai Exter, Tata Punch, and its cousin Maruti Fronx.
