Descendants musical franchise returns with "The Rise of Red," premiering on Disney+ on July 12 and later on Disney Channel. This fifth installment follows Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe, Cinderella's daughter, as they travel back in time to prevent a traumatic event that set Red's mother on a villainous path. The film features a new ensemble of characters, including returning stars China Anne McClain and Melanie Paxson.
