The Texas Rangers are set to call up top prospect Justin Foscue to replace injured All-Star third baseman Josh Jung, who suffered a wrist fracture. Foscue, a 25-year-old infielder, was the 14th overall pick in the 2020 draft and has played first, second, and third base. Foscue spent 2023 with Triple-A Round Rock, batting .266 with 18 home runs, 84 runs batted in, and an OPS of .862 in 122 games played.
