Oakland police are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident on Monday morning at 98th Avenue and San Leandro Street. An unidentified male pedestrian was found with injuries consistent with a vehicle collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver had fled before police arrival.
