New York federal court rejects authors' request to block OpenAI cases brought by NYT, Authors Guild, etc. Writers, including Michael Chabon, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and Sarah Silverman, wanted the cases against OpenAI and Microsoft moved to California, but U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein said they didn't have enough interest to intervene. The California court had previously rejected a similar request.
