Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet Chairman and Xinjiang Governor discuss China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project progress and border checkpoint operations.

Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet Chairman, Akylbek Japarov, discussed the progress of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project with Xinjiang Governor, Erkin Tuniyaz. The project is reportedly progressing successfully, with a trilateral meeting held in Beijing in February. Japarov and Tuniyaz also discussed border checkpoint operations and extended working hours at the Erkeshtam and Torugart checkpoints.
